My first contact with the ECOsmarte products and technologies has been on the Cairns Tradeshow when I walked into the ECOsmarte-booth. What initially attracted me was the combination of technologies, the copper ionization, and platinum oxidation. In my youth, in Germany, the old people used to wear copper bands around their arms for protection against illnesses and I had heard about research being done in Germany about the beneficial effects of the same principles.
So I acquired a Turbo pool system for my swimming pool. Until now I used to have a saltwater pool but really did not like the effect of the chlorine in the water.
I’ve put in the system myself, a breeze to install and switched it on. One of the problems I had with my old setup was some green algae on the waterfall above the pool. To test the effectiveness of this system I plugged the overflow of my pool, filled the pool to the maximum water level, and waited for the algae to become visible. I then turned the system to ionization for 4 hours and watched the algae disappear at almost the same time. The next day there was no trace of any algae whatsoever which to me proved beyond any doubt that the system actually works. Since then I have crystal clear water in my pool, very nice to swim in.

We have had the ECOsmarte pool system for more than 25 years now. We had a chlorine pool, and we have never looked back. Spending time at the pool store only to find out... their solution - “add more Chlorine” is not my idea of a fun afternoon. The ECOsmarte system has worked excellently, and the customer support through all these years is still top-notch. I have a sand filter with the recommended glass pack. I run the pump at least 10 hours a day. I maintain my pH at 6.8 and copper level to .5 -.7 ppm through the basic 3-month swimming season in MN. The cost to keep my pool clear is really just muriatic acid—4-6 gallons, used to keep pH low. I replace the copper electrodes about every three or four years. Once you get used to the system, it’s pretty easy to manage. I have experimented over the years, and usually, that did not work in my favor. I recommend you just maintain your pool as recommended by ECOsmarte. I do for sure now. I closed my pool mid-Sept 2020, then opened June 9th, 2021. We were swimming by June 12th! That’s definitely a record for me... good when family motivates you. I wholeheartedly recommend the ECOsmarte pool system. It works well, is healthy, and is inexpensive to maintain. My pool liner is about 20 years old. I also have the whole house system. I will write another review about this system under the appropriate heading. Enjoy your pool season. Thank you, ECOsmarte.

My partner and I live in El Paso County. The water is okay but nothing compared to the water from the Purity Bay water filtration system we purchased from your company. I have bottled water straight from my sink. No more having to buy bottles which not only pollute our planet but cost a lot of money. Also no more carrying those heavy and bulky 5 gallon containers to put on the water cooler which is a quite difficult task might I add.
Not only am I drinking pure clean good tasting water but at the same time I am saving a lot of shelf space in the fridge and pantry from not having to store bottled water and the 5-gallon containers (I had 6 of them). The fact that the water is super clean allows me to rinse all my fruits and vegetables straight of the sink making every dollar that I spend on organic veggies worth it.
Everyone that has come into my kitchen has been served delicious water from my sink and has loved it! I couldn’t be happier with the Reverse Osmosis in my kitchen.
We are also enjoying the water everywhere else in the home. Our product consumption has been greatly reduced due to the fact that we no longer need to use so much shampoo, conditioner, etc. One small drop the size of a dime will do. I have really long hair, so another saving here.
My French bulldog has skin allergies and we have to use special shampoo which is rather expensive and I’ve noticed the consumption here has been drastically reduced as well.
We are really happy with this financial investment we made. It’s one of those investments that will last you a lifetime and those are rare.
Aside from purchasing the Purity Bay water filter system we also purchased the ECOsmarte system for both our hot tub and swim spa and boy let me tell you if I thought the Purity Bay filter was the best investment ever this completely doubles that. It is like swimming in bottled water. It’s like nothing I've ever experienced in my life. I no longer have to be adding endless amounts of chlorine, shock, water clear, etc. Actually I don’t have to add anything at all. Just like that the water stays SUPER clean and NO chemical smells what so ever. The amount of money I will be saving here will pay for the ECOsmarte in no time.
I highly recommend the ECOsmarte system to any hot tub, swim spa, or pool owner. This system gets 5 stars plus…. Overall we are one happy-happy customer. To anyone who reads this I say, investing in cleaner water is the best decision you will make in your life, your body is about 60% water and your skin is your largest organ, therefore treating it with high-quality water is the best thing you can do.

Dear ECOsmarte,
After 30+ years of adding chlorine, acid, shock, and other chemicals to my pool, I decided to redo the pool and all the equipment. This made me think of how I could make caring for the pool easier and less toxic. Storing the chemicals was a big issue for me. After research, I thought a salt pool would be the way to go. My wife pointed out how the saltwater might not be good for her plants around the pool. Further research made me aware of ECOsmarte’s no chemical system. This really appealed to me. It solved my chemical issues and automated the process to work hand in hand with the new efficient pool equipment. We have found the water to be much more pleasant to be in and with an almost soft feeling to the skin. In any case, when the grand kids have their swim parties they love the water. The settings on the micro controller are set and only need to be adjusted as the seasons change if you’re not lucky enough to be located in the San Francisco Bay area. The basic maintenance is refilling the Carbon Dioxide canister periodically for pH control and testing the pool water once a week to be sure all is okay. Thank you.

We, being senior citizens, are unable to physically handle the salt or potassium replacement for water softeners. We were looking for a water system for our new home that would not require maintenance on our part.
Our area has very hard water and we were warned that appliances are short-lived and water lines get clogged with calcium deposits. In addition, homeowners in our subdivision are concerned about the chemical leftovers going into our treatment plant.
We feel we have solved future problems by purchasing an ECOsmarte Whole House Water Treatment system. In addition, we are able to drink from the faucet instead of purchasing bottled water for drinking and making coffee and tea.
We are looking forward to seeing the difference in our yard after watering this year.

This is my third ECOsmarte system, so it should be obvious that I am pleased with what it does. The first was at my Dad's house, the second at my current home and the third is at a new home just being finished.
We have a municipal water system that includes lots of calcium and iron at no extra charge. The ECOsmarte system greatly improves the taste and when combined with a water softener, provides really good water that leaves dishes and glassware sparkling. In addition, our sinks, showers and tubs stay clean for quite a long time. Keep up the good work.
